Representative of “Rompetrol” Group estimated that unlimited import of oil products from Serbia, in accordance with trade contract of Serbia and EU, could harm business of other oil companies in Romania.
Oil products from Serbia can enter Romanian market at much lower price in April- Representative of “Rompetro” Group, the part of “Kaz-munay gas” from Kazakhstan, Tusupbekov Zhanat, stated this at the meeting with Romanian Economy Minister Varujan Vosganian.
Minister Vosganian said that the question of lower prices from countries out of EU is already being reconsidered by EU in the scope of Competition Association and that the proposals of minimal prices out of EU were made.
He said that he will talk to the other companies at Romanian market because of joint attitude that will be represented to European Commission.
Romanian Economy Minister, however, estimated that positive reactions of population on low fuel prices from Serbia are also possible.
