At the end of November state-controlled Public Power Corporation (PPC) managed to increase its retail market share by 3 %, reaching 66.33 % share, although projected to gradually lose its share on the Greek retail electricity market.
Among independent suppliers, Protergia, a part of the Mytilineos group, lost 0.6 % share dropping to 7.99 % in November, but remained best positioned. Second-placed Heron dropped to 6.55 % in November from 6.97 % in October, as well as Elpedison in the third place, to 4.67 % from 5.05 % in October.
NRG’s market share remained unchanged at 3.37 %, followed by Watt+Volt with a 2.69 % share of the retail electricity market, Volterra with 2.37 %, Fysiko Aerio with 1.61 %, Zenith with 1.26 %, Volton with 1.13 % and KEN at 0.59 %.
PPC’s 2021-2023 business plan envisages retail market share contraction to 54 % at the end of the reviewed period.
