More clean and quality fuel is being provided from Pancevo’s refinery since the beginning of the year and it is claimed in Oil industry of Serbia NIS company that facility produces derivates that are completely in accordance with EU standard. NIS is majority owned by GazpromNeft.
Managing Director of NIS, Kiril Kravcenko, says that this company has obtained certificate from EU Commission for all kinds of fuels and that “fuel is totally in accordance with EU standards, qualities and demands of Euro 5”.
Drivers say that they are not completely satisfied with fuel quality yet. Some of them say that they see improvement and the other say that they don’t notice any difference.
Reservoirs of Diesel D2 and Europremium fuels are almost empty. There won’t be able to be found at market since August.
More quality fuel automatically means higher prices. Eurodiesel is 5 dinars more expensive than D2.
Ministry of Energy asks for derivates’ price decrease. The Rulebook for bigger use of bio-fuel will be revealed soon and this is the first step towards price decrease.
Minister of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection Zorana Mihajlovic explains that price can be lower because excise is not being counted on bio-fuel which is mixed in basic derivate.
