Hungary: Due to malfunction NPP Paks cuts output

MVM Paksi Atomeromu, the operator of Hungary’s sole nuclear power plant Paks, said that the output of the plant’s unit 2 has been reduced by 50 % as of the evening of 2 March due to a generator oil system malfunction. The statement from the company said that this measure did not affect the output of the remaining three units of NPP Paks. Unit 2 resumed operation at full capacity in the early hours of 4 March.
