The average price of electricity on day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 215.87 euros/MWh in November 2021, which is 9 % higher compared to the previous month, when average baseload price amounted to 197.16 euros/MWh.
Average HUPX DAM peak price amounted to 250.54 euros/MWh in November, 15 % higher compared to October peak price. Traded volume on the day-ahead market reached 2.55 million MWh, which is 5.9 % less than in October (2.71 million MWh) and 20.3 % more than in November 2020 (2.12 million MWh). Average daily traded volume in November amounted to 85,030 MWh.
Traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 286,359 MWh in November 2021, which is 6 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 9,545 MWh.
