Hungarian oil and gas company MOL is expanding its presence in Romania with 2015 retail sales number confirming the increase of its market share in the fuel market.
MOL Group’s retail sales in Romania, including fuels, LPG and lubricants increased last year by 17% to 586,000 tonnes as a result of expanding the network of gas stations.
Domestic diesel sales registered a 15% to 419 000 tonnes, while sales of gasoline rose 18% to 152,000 tons.
MOL completed in February 2015 acquisition of the 42 stations purchased from ENI Agip Romania, currently reaching a network of over 200 units of fuel distribution.
For 2016, the company aims to expand by 11 units, of which three have already been launched, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
