The average price on the day-ahead market of the Hungarian energy exchange HUPX amounted to 65.08 euros/MWh in March, which is 6% lower compared to February (69.35 euros/MWh). Average day-ahead peak price amounted to 63.89 euros/MWh, 14% lower compared to the previous month.
In the same period, traded volume on DAM reached 2.53 million MWh (-3.7%). The average daily traded volume in March amounted to 81,744 MWh.
Traded volume on the intraday market reached 778,559 MWh (+20%). The average daily traded volume on the intraday market amounted to 25,115 MWh. The average price for the hourly product amounted to 65.86 euros/ MWh, 8% less than the previous month.
