Institute “Gosa” became the center for development of machine industry, Uncategorized
The project of introduction new modern technologies and equipment in the field of machine industry and welding techniques through the development of “V-tech center” (W-Tech) will be presented in the Serbian chamber of commerce on Friday, 23 September.
This project envisages equipping of new laboratories and scientific research conditions, and education of the first generation of trainers who will in future be able to educate a new generation of engineers and scientists of this important industry.
The Center will operate within the institute Gosa, in Smederevo, and it will be trained by experts for the metals industry -innovation managers, engineers for using different engineering software, welding engineers, welders for new welding procedures.
“V-tech” center for innovation and technology transfer in welding, materials science and engineering application software is funded by the European Union, through the program of regional socio-economic development.
The project started implementation on 18th January this year and will last two years, and aims to improve conditions for sustained economic growth and development of human resources, in the regions with the highest concentration of manufacturing and engineering industry in Serbia, especially in Branicevo and Podunavlje district, central and southern Serbia,Banat.
