The trade agreements between Italy and Serbia in the energy sector made some energy companies favored and thanks to that they drew a very large financial gain, according to the Italian television RAI 3.
The website of this television station published a report in which investigates irregularities in in partner selection proccess in the projects carried out by the Italian government in Serbia in Montenegro in the field of energy and renewable energy.
The entire Rai 3 report is going to be published today; they informed us from this television, announcing a story with footage of the joint address to reporters of the former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and former leader of Montenegro, Milo Djukanovic.
“In 2009, Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and the Minister of Economic Development Claudio Schaiola launched a project worth several billion Euros in the area of renewable energy sources in the Balkans” the paper Corriere della Sera wrote on its website announcing this report.
Both public and private Italian companies were involved in this operation, and project envisaged the construction of hydro power plants in Serbia, and the construction of underwater energy line or setting a sea ground cable between Montenegro and Italy.
Rai 3 announces the publication of information about who benefited the most from these major projects, as well as how the companies that participate in their implementation.
