Less electricity because of the drought, News Serbia Energy
Electrical Power Industry of Serbia produces about 82 GWh of electricity on daily basis, but at the moment there is less electricity from hydro power plants than usually because of the drought-was announced in EPS.
59 GWh of electricity is produced in thermal power plants, while 23 GWh is produced in hydro power plants, on daily basis.
Outside temperatures have been above the average high in July, and hydro reservoires are being emptied more quickly than it is expected, as electricity consumption is growing due to warm weather-was said in EPS, and added that temperature increase by one degree Celisius means by 0,8 GWh
