Macedonia imported 67.034.261 EUR of electricity during the first six months, mostly from Switzerland and Serbia.
Electricity import from Switzerland amounted around 30 million EUR, about 27,8 million EUR from Serbia, 8,7 million EUR from Bulgaria and 274.841 EUR from Greece. According to portal analysis, electricity import in the first quarter amounted 54 million EUR and incredible 13 million EUR is paid in May and June.
Macedonia has spent more than a billion EUR for electricity import from abroad since 2008 so far.
