Total electricity production in Macedonia in December 2016 amounted to 636.9 GWh, which is 3.36 % more than planned for this month (616.2 GWh) and 20.06 % more compared to the same month in 2015 (530.5 GWh).
Electricity generation in hydropower plants was accounted for 31.25 % of the total sum and amounted to 199 GWh, which is 84.8 % more than planned for this month. Thermal power plants produced 65.82 % of the electricity (419.2 GWh), which is 15.9 % less than planned. The remaining 18.7 GWh or 2.93 % was produced by Bogdanci wind farm.
