The Company “Veze Sari” from Tetovo in Macedonia started construction of first biogas TPP which will produce electricity. This electricity will be used for supply of egg farm.
“Hen manure and other waste will enable production of one electricity MWH. We invested 5 million EUR in it and we used German experience in alternative use of resources for electricity production, next to our experience”, the owner Arben Abdurahman said.
23% of required energy is predicted to be gained from renewable sources in Macedonia.
According to the words of Economy Minister, Valjone Sarcini, Macedonia has good conditions for renewable energy sources’ use like hydro, solar and wind energy, biomass and biogas.
He said that ministry made good conditions for investments in this sector and added that stimulation for electricity produced in biogas thermal plant will be 18 cents per KWH during the next 15 years.
