In May 2013 the gross national electricity consumption amounted to 599,996 MWh, as compared with the same month last year, a decline of 8.77 percent, according to the government State Statistical Office.
The gross domestic expenditure net imports accounted for 12.79 percent, while gross domestic production by 87.21 percent
According to the State Statistical Office, in May this year, in Macedonia, the total import of natural gas was 2.512 mil.mn3, as compared with imports in the same period last year represents an increase of 14.48 percent.
The total consumption of natural gas, natural gas for energy transformations accounted for 4.30 percent, while final consumption by 95.29 percent.
