Electricity Transmission System Operator of Macedonia (MEPSO) signed Thursday agreements with the best bidders over the construction of 122km-long power transmission lines, worth EUR 13,2 million.
Consortium of Swedish Eltel Networks and Serbian company Energomontaza will build the 400kW 70km-long power transmission line from Stip to the Macedonia-Serbia border, whereas the 52km-long 110kW line Skopje-Jugohrom-Tetovo will be constructed by Serbian consortium Energomontaza-Montprojekt.
The projects, funded by MEPSO and World Bank loans, are to be completed in 2014.
