Average electricity bill for households in October 2021 amounted to 27.4 euros, slightly lower (4.1 %) than in October last year (28.58 euros) and 8.3 % higher compared to the previous month (25.31 euros).
Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Zabljak municipality (18 euros), while the highest consumption was in Podgorica, where the average bill was 33.2 euros. 66.97 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during October, 18.72 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 12.28 % between 50 and 100, while 2.03 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 152,254 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 41 % of total consumers in Montenegro.
Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 95.18 million kWh in October 2021, which is 2.5 % more compared to October 2020 and 9.7 % more compared to the previous month.
