The average household electricity bill in April 2026 amounted to €31.78, which is 20% lower compared to the previous month (€39.73) and 1.2% lower compared to April last year (€32.15).
The lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in the municipality of Žabljak, at €20.2, while the highest was in Kotor, where the average bill reached €37.3.
Around 63.47% of households will pay less than €30 for electricity consumed in April, while 18.13% will pay between €30 and €50, 14.44% between €50 and €100, and 3.97% of customers will receive bills exceeding €100.
A total of 163,271 regularly paying customers were granted discounts, representing approximately 39.5% of all electricity consumers in Montenegro.
Montenegro’s power utility EPCG also reported that households consumed 112.5 million kWh in April 2026, which is 4.29% lower compared to April 2025 and 20.54% lower than in the previous month.
