Average electricity bill for households in July 2021 amounted to 34.11 euros, significantly higher (29.3 %) than in July last year (26.3 euros) and 31.9 % higher compared to the previous month (25.87 euros).
Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Pljevlja municipality (19.1 euros), while the highest consumption was in Ulcinj, where the average bill was 56.6 euros. 62.46 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during July, 19.21 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 14.31 % between 50 and 100, while 4.02 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros. 178,067 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 48 % of total consumers in Montenegro.
Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 120.66 million kWh in July 2021, which is 27 % more compared to July 2020 and 30 % more compared to the previous month.
