On the Montenegro government tender for awarding concessions for the hydrocarbons production oil exploration, within the tender for oil and gas exploration in the Adriatic offshore, the biggest interest showed the companies from the UK and the USA.
Within companies that are interested in contract awarding, as states in Gov report, there are seven from UK, namely Geopartners limited, Sterling energy PLC, Northern Petroleum PLC, Premieroil, Seaenergy PLC, JX Nippon Exploration and Production and BG Group.
From American companies the interest showed Hess Corporation, Exxonmobil International limited, Nobile Energy, Anadarko International Energy Company and Marathon.
Interest for contract awarding showed Nis Gazpromneft, Italian companies Edison SpA and Eni, German Wintershall and RWE DEA, French Total, Norwegian Statoil Asa, Swiss White Falcon, Woodside from Austria and Ina from Croatia.
For the contract also are interested Greek Hellenic Petroleum that has 54, 35 percent of participation in Kotor Jugopetrol, but also Hungarian TDE Services.
Nobile Energy, Exxonmobil, Eni, Ina, Japanese JX Nippon, Russian Novatek, Norwegian Statoil, American Anadarko IEC and Hess Corporation, Helenic Petroleum, Total, Edison
also had access to file.
Ministry of Economy announced on the website on July 26th the tender for oil and gas exploration in Montenegro offshore, which will be opened from February next year.
The tender was announced for 13 units in Montenegro offshore, on the surface of about 3.000 square kilometeres. The government defined fiscal policy in this area, and state part will be about 70 percent of net profit that realize oil companies, where will be defined what enter in cost account.
