EPCG has launched a third tender for the design and construction of the planned Otilovići small hydropower plant in Montenegro, retaining an estimated project value of €7mn excluding VAT, or €8.47mn including VAT.
The procurement covers the full execution chain, including preparation of the main design, civil works, delivery and installation of electromechanical equipment, testing and commissioning.
The main-design phase is allocated six months, excluding formal review. A further six months is envisaged for preparation of the environmental impact assessment, also excluding the approval period.
Construction itself is expected to take between 12 and 20 months. EPCG would formally hand the project over to the successful contractor seven days after the building permit is issued.
The proposed plant would have around 2.6 MW of installed capacity and expected annual generation of approximately 11 GWh.
The deadline for submitting offers is 20 October.
