Green Gvozd, owned by EPCG launched a tender for an engineer and supervision consultant for the implementation of the planned 55 MW Gvozd wind farm, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said.
The deadline for submitting bids expires on August 9, the EBRD added.
The bank also said it will fully finance the Gvozd wind project by providing an 82 million euro loan to Green Gvozd.
Up to thirteen wind turbine generators will be installed as part of the project.
EPCG’s executive director, Ivan Bulatovic, said earlier that the project involves the construction of the 55 MW Gvozd 1 wind farm with an annual output capacity of 150 GWh. There is a possibility of building Gvozd 2 that will add 22-25 GW, Bulatovic has said.
The Gvozd wind park is likely to be completed by the end of 2025, energy minister Sasa Mujovic said earlier this year.
The wind farm will be built near the village of Gvozd in the western municipality of Niksic. It will be the first wind farm in EPCG’s portfolio.
