The average electricity bill for households in February 2026 amounted to €43.25, representing a 19.2% decrease compared to January 2026 (€53.52) and a 5.4% increase compared to February 2025 (€41.03).
The lowest average monthly bill was recorded in Žabljak municipality (€21.9), while the highest was in Tivat, where the average bill reached €54.9.
Regarding the distribution of bills:
- 56.73% of households will pay less than €30.
- 14.66% will pay between €30 and €50.
- 18.5% will pay between €50 and €100.
- 10.1% of customers will receive bills above €100.
A total of 157,618 regularly paying customers were granted a discount, representing roughly 38.28% of all consumers in Montenegro.
The power utility EPCG reported that households consumed 151.6 million kWh in February 2026, which is 2.83% more than in February 2025, but 17.56% less compared to January 2026.
