Montenegro: Mitsubishi heavy industry and Spanish Fersa wind parks get gov approval on space tech conditions
, SEE Energy NewsUrban -technical conditions (UTU) for wind parks construction in Krnovo and Mozura were issued in May and June, it was announced from the Ministry of Economy.
– UTU for wind park construction on the site Krnovo were issued on 10 May this year, and for Mozura on 7 June – said the representatives of the Ministry, transmits Mina.
They explained that the UTU is issued by the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism.
From the Ministry of Economy was previously reported that after the UTU issuance would begin the land acquisition and other preparatory work for the wind parks construction of Krnovo.
The lease contract of state-owned land and wind park construction on the site Krnovo was signed about three years ago with a consortium which made Japanese company Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Ivica Consulting from Vienna. The company Krnovo Green Energy was founded with the aim of wind park construction Krnovo of 72 megawatts (MW).
Spanish consortium Fersa Energias Renovables is charged for the wind parks construction on Mozura, in the municipalities of Ulcinj and Bar, with which the contract was concluded in July 2010. The contract provides the wind park construction of installed power to 46 MW. Lease period is 20 years, with the possibility of extension for up to ten years.
For the wind parks construction, as they explained in the Ministry, it needs time.
– For the wind parks construction needs time, from the leasing period of the land, through extensive research works, to the construction and connection to the electro energetic system – concluded from that Government Department.
