“We have defined what the biggest problem at previous tender was i.e. the planning assumptions and connecting to energy network grid.” Government decided to announce a new tender for construction of small HPPs at 8 watercourses, with total energy value of 12,5 MW, Minister of Economy, Vladimir Kavaric stated.
As he explained, tender will include eight watercourses, two in Savnik, two in Plavo, and one in Bijelo Polje, Andrijevica, Berane and Pluzine.“This is a 20 million EUR worth investment”
We expect the offer issuance on tender base and we have a continuation of investing process in energy sector from that aspect”, Kavaric stated after the Government Session where Information of Public Competition Preparation for the Use of Watercourses for Construction of small HPPs in Montenegro Concessions Issuance with the Proposal of Concession Act, Report from Public Discussion and the following tender documentation.
He added that the main characteristics of the new tender are simplified with the reference to the previous ones.
“We have defined the biggest problem at former tender and the problem was in planning assumptions and connectors to the energy network”, Kavaric said.
