Representatives of Svilajnac municipality and Italian company Paci & Pagliari signed yesterday in Pezzaro the protocol on cooperation and construction of pellet factory, the investment value 4 mil euro.
As it was stated yesterday in municipality the company will open 50 new jobs.
President of Italian company, Mr.Patricio Pacci stated that factory will produce 30-50.000 tons of this bio fuel per year, and that they decided for Serbia as there is enough wood as resources for production.
Municipality provided all necessary permits and conditions which were requested from investors and by end of the year we expect the production to start, stated deputy mayor Predrag Milanovic. He added that this will be first Italian investment into Svilajnac and fifth foreign investment in this city.
Paci & Pagliari, Italian company with more than 25 years of history on European market in area of organic food production which they export to countries of north Europe.
