Serbian Government adopted the law for conditions and procedure of acquiring the status of privileged power producer, Law for stimulating measures for privileged electricity producers and the Law for height of required compensation to stimulation in 2013.
Conditions and procedure for acquiring the status of privileged power producer are being prescribed with the Law for conditions and procedure of acquiring the status of privileged power producer, as well as the content of the status and proofs for acquiring the status of privileged electricity producer.
Minimal degree of preliminary energy use in plants with combined production was determined with this law. It depends on basic fuel kind and installed strength, maximal totally installed strength of WPPs and SPPs which privileged i.e. temporary status of electricity producer can be acquired.
Obligations of privileged producer and control way for acquired obligations are alleged, as well as Register’s content and making procedure.
Categories of privileged electricity producers are being easily defined with the Law for stimulating measures for privileged electricity producers. Stimulating measures, conditions for their acquiring, the way of determination of stimulating period, rights and obligations of privileged producers that comes from these measures are being prescribed. Contract and pre-contract contents about electricity buyout from privileged producer are being determined with this law.
Amount of 0.044 dinars per KWH was determined with the Law for special stimulating compensation in 2013. Buyers pay this amount with a bill for transmission i.e. distribution system.
