The Company “Nikl” seated in Banjaluka, submitted a request to RS Ministry of Resources for issuance for concession of nickel sites in Vardiste. This firm is registered as “Srbija nikl” substation- it was announced on the website of Visegrad municipality.
Municipality Visegrad will organize public discussion, about announced nickel sites research in Vardiste area, it was announced from Mayor’s office.
All interested citizens, municipal parliament aldermen and representatives of companies, public institutions, NGOs are invited to participate in this discussion.
Representatives of “Nikl” Company and well-known experts from mining sector will present available information about possible research work on determination of nickel stocks in Vardiste area to discussion participants.
Representatives of RS Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining were also invited to discussion. They should give the final decision for concession issuance.
This is the public discussion about possible nickel sites in Vardiste that last several years what doesn’t mean that nickel exploitation will be also done at this location.
