North Macedonian state-owned power utility ESM (former ELEM) announced that it will sell a total of 10,400 MW of baseload electricity (00:00 – 24:00) for the delivery between 1 and 9 June.
The deadline for the application to participate in an auction is 28 May, and the results will be published the next day.
ESM said that it will hold auctions for the sale of surplus electricity on the weekly level in June as well (4 auctions in total), just as in May when it held five electricity auctions. According to draft timetable, first auction is already launched on 23 May, on 30 May an auction for the delivery between 10 and 16 June should be launched, on 6 June for the delivery between 17 and 23 June and finally on 13 June for the delivery between 24 and 30 June. The exact amounts of electricity offered at these auctions will be defined later.
