North Macedonia: Production of electricity in November
, SEE Energy NewsIn November 2020, total electricity consumption in North Macedonia amounted to 671,057 MWh, natural gas consumption amounted to 45 million cubic meters, coal consumption reached 402,743 tons, while the consumption of petroleum products stood at 85,862 tons. According to the data from State Statistical Office, 60.8 % of the consumed electricity in November was covered by domestic production, while 96.2 % of the total coal consumption was used for electricity production. Total net production of electricity in Macedonia in November 2020 stood at 382,533 MWh, which is by 1.4 % lower compared to the same month last year. 178,743 MWh or 46.7 % was produced at thermal power plants (- 26 % compared to November 2019), 31,499 MWh or 8.2 % was produced at hydropower plants (- 63.8 %), 158,352 MWh or 41.4 % in CHP plants and 7,983 MWh or 2.09 % was produced by Bogdanci wind farm.
