In February 2026, the volume of electricity traded on North Macedonia’s day-ahead electricity exchange reached 115,796 MWh, 1 % higher compared to 114,665 MWh in the same month last year. However, traded volume was 24.3 % lower than in the previous month.
The electricity market operator MEMO reported that the average market-clearing price for February 2026 stood at 70.76 euros/MWh, representing a 42.3 % decline compared to the previous month. The daily average trading volume was 4,135.6 MWh, while the peak price for the month reached 74.1 euros/MWh.
The North Macedonian electricity exchange was established in May 2023.
