“Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske” announced multimillion investments in the construction of power gen facilities for renewable sources electricity production in this year.
Construction of facilities with lower power on Bosna, Cijevna is planned with 5MEUR investments, while 30MEUR is planned for HPP Dabar.
Elektroprivreda stated that about 5MEUR will be provided for construction of HPPs on Gornja Drina. Republika Srpska has significant wind potential what will attract certain assets in research and processing of technical documentation for wind power plants construction.
According to plans of “Elektroprivreda Republike Sprska”, around 3MEUR will be invested in revitalization and production increase of small HPPs Bogatici and Besici.
“The goal of “Elektroprivreda” is to use renewable sources energy potential on Republika Srpska territory in order to provide environmental protection on local and global level and to achieve social-economic effects for local population on the area where energy objects are planned”, it is said from this electricity system.
