Suspension of Bulgarian work on the construction of gas pipeline “South Stream” does not affect the implementation of the project in Republika Srpska, said the head of the representative office of Republika Srpska in Moscow Dusko Perovic.
“Republika Srpska should begin construction just next summer and we still do not prepare the documentation, so that now this situation in particular does not affect us”, said Perovic.
He added that Republika Srpska in the project “South Stream” went on “road map” that was signed with “Gazprom”.
Perovic said that now the question was what “Gazprom” and the European Commissionwould decide, which have a joint working group that addressed the harmonization of “South Stream” with the EU Third energy package.
At the request of the European Commission Bulgaria suspended the work on the pipelineconstruction.
