In March TPP “Gacko” produced 158.8 GWh of electricity, which is 3.1% more than planned, confirmed Executive Director for the production of electricity and the development of the company Mr. Borivoje Vujicic.
“Gacko” has consumed 215 368 tons of coal and 208 tons of fuel oil for the produced quantity of electricity, Vujicic said.
Recently the TPP has been put into a hold as planned due to internal mechanical cleaning and maintaining issues.
This planed hold is to improve efficiency using the heat emitted from the fuel and increasing the reliability and technical security of the premises, says Vujacic and stressed good operational capacity of TPP.
Since the beginning of the year the thermal power plant has produced 447.85 gigawatt-hours of electricity, which is 98% of the planned electric power balance of the Republic of Srpska.
– There are 95,000 tons of coal of expected quality situated at the landfill, while stocks of fuel oil are about a thousand tons – Mr. Vujicic said, adding that in the next 40 days a slowdown has not been planned and the expected production is in accordance with the electric power balance.
According to him, they are preparing for the regular annual overhaul intensively, which is scheduled for 20th June, and all necessary approvals have been given from the Government of the Republic of Srpska and “ERS” .
The production in the last month has been successful, confirmed Executive Director for Development in Coal mine “Gacko” Mr. Srdjan Milović. He also stressed they produced 213 894 tons of coal, which is 6.95% more than planned.
– In March we excavated 809,292 cubic meters of solid mass, which is 30.5% more than planned – said Milović and pointed out that the achieved production of coal and overburden were done by their own machinery.
