Republika Srpska: “Comsar energy” receivesa concession for mining coal in Lopare and Ugljevik -The investment of 104 MEUR

TheProposal of Decision onlaunching the awardof the concessionfor the exploitation ofcoaldeposit “Delici andPeljave-Tobut” in municipalitiesUgljevikandLopare, saysthat the totalvalueof the investment is 104.047.006 EUR. The initiativefor the concessionon thesedepositshas launched”Comsar Energy”.

The initiativeemphasizesthat with implementation of the project261employeeshouldbe permanentlyemployed, andtemporary150more.

Based ona studymade ​​up, depositdisposes with35,838,453tonnes ofexploitation reservesandprojected annualcoal production istwo milliontonnes.

Determinedreserveswill allowexploitation in the next19years.

Coalfrommentioneddepositsshall be usedforthe thermal power plant”Ugljevik 3″ for the purpose of electricity generation.

The implementation ofthe concessionwill allowthe stabilityof the energysector, which is of general interestfor the Republic ofSrpska, according to the Proposed Decision.
