The Romanian Energy Regulatory Authority – ANRE has recently made the decision according to which contracts concluded on a regulated market and export contracts become publicly available, but OPCOM will decide which details of energy transactions can be published.
The decision implies the obligation of the parties to submit to electricity market operator (OPCOM) a copy of these contracts, no later than seven days from their conclusion. In general, electricity producers and traders shall submit copies of all contracts, including those who have already entered into force.
The market operator shall publish information on prices and quantities agreed within transactions on all centralized markets, including a regulated and export market.
