Electrocentrale marked in 2015 a gross profit of 13.4MEUR, accounting profit remaining after tax is estimated at 9.8MEUR, according to the income and expenditure budget published in the Official Gazette.
The total revenues of the company are expected to 438MEUR, while expenditures at 424MEUR.

ELCEN was established on December 18, 2002, the subsidiary of Termoelectrica, the reorganization of the company. Currently, the Ministry of Energy, Small and Medium Enterprises and Business ELCEN the majority shareholder, holding 97.51% of the company’s shares.
