National Agency for Mineral Resources (NAMR) estimates that for this year the state will receive oil and mining royalties of 1.16 billion lei – 1.38 billion lei (256 million euro – euro 304.6 million).
“For 2016 revenue estimates budget royalty oil is of 1000-1200 million, and the royalties are 160-180000000 lei “, said NAMR.
In the first nine months of 2015, revenues from oil royalties totaled 896, 6 million lei, while the mining royalty 166.67 million lei, for a total of 1.06 billion.
In 2014, the fees were higher than those estimated for 2016 totaled 1.56 billion lei (1.36 billion RON 200.87 million lei oil and mining). The highest amounts were paid by OMV Petrom (848.25 million lei) and Romgaz (289.16 million lei).
Officials noted that NAMR oil royalties changes in the quantities extracted and changing the reference price. In mining, the total fees vary, inter alia, depending on the number of firms and the amount harvested.
