National Company Nuclearelectrica marked 1stQ2015 net profit of 7.9MEUR, representing an increase of 11% year on year.
According to a report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) EBITDA increased by 24% over the same period last year.
Operating income of the company totaled 105MEUR (of which 99MEUR revenues from sale of electricity and 6.4MEUR revenues from energy transport.
Operating expenses were in January-March 2015 amount of 99.6MEUR.
Energy production amounted to 2.762 GWh during the mentioned period.
The state has, through the Department of Energy, Nuclearelectrica 81.3% of the shares and Fondul Proprietatea controls 9.7% of the shares. Nuclearelectrica covers about 18% of Romania’s electricity annually.
