Romanian Prime Minister Niculae Ciuca said that the Government will adopt an emergency ordinance which will provide one billion euros in subsidies for energy efficiency and green energy production.
PM Ciuca said that the ordinance is already drafted by the Ministry Of European Investments and provides funding in the amount of one billion euros, 500 million of which is being allocated for local authorities fro energy efficiency and green energy production. Local authorities will be able to invest these funds in better insulation and more efficient hearting of public and residential buildings.
He said that the other 500 million euros will be allocated for small and medium enterprises for the same purpose, especially green energy production for their own consumption.
