Romania: OPCOM trading rules being changed, SEE Energy News
The PC platform changes the rules on OPCOM exchange. National Authority for Energy Regulation – ANRE promotes a draft decree on amending the regulation on the organized trading for centralized market with continuous double negotiating electricity contracts.
According to the new order, the eligibility list will include a minimum of eight (8) eligible partners with zero credit limit. Eligibility is defined as each participant on the list that will maintain and update data on trading platform comprising partners eligible distinct sales / purchase and product.
Market participants believe that this measure imposed by ANRE conditioning strikes the proper functioning of OTC PC market. This platform is proving to be a success in any operating year, registering record trading. According to recent data OPCOM, the total volume of transactions on OTC PC, launch to date is 8,696,971 MWh and the intentions competition is the result of 35 active participants out of 63 registered participants this market. , transmits Serbia-energy.eu
