Romania power exchange OPCOM reported on the increase of average price of electricity traded on its DAM, as well as the increase of traded volume.
The average price for electricity traded on 22.2.2016, on the Day Ahead Market (DAM), administered by OPCOM was 109.16 lei / MWh.
There was an increase of 31.93% over the average price for the yesterday (82.74 lei / MWh). The total volume of energy traded for today was 62485.5 MWh, rising by 9.10% compared to yesterday. The total value of traded energy 23 February is 7,156,710.26 lei (1,602,542.70 euros), increasing by 40.52% compared to the previous day. PZU share transactions in net consumption forecast is 39.16%.
The average price of electricity traded for months on DAM was 82.74 lei / MWh (equivalent to 18.53 euro / MWh). And there was an increase of 41.12% over the average price for the Sunday (58.63 lei / MWh). The total volume of energy traded for month was 57.275 MWh, increasing by 0.89% compared to Sunday. The total value of traded energy for months 5,092,963.83 lei (1,140,400.74 euros) increased compared to the previous day to 48.24%.
The average price of electricity traded on Sunday, PZU, the was 58.63 lei / MWh (equivalent to 13.13 euro / MWh). The total volume of energy traded Sunday: 56770.5 MWh, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
