Romanian company Romelectro has won an international tender for the construction of highvoltage transmission lines organized by Kosovo’s electricity transmission system operator KOSTT.
The project is worth 7.5 million euros and it will be financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The works in question include the construction of five key sections of 110 kV and 220 kV transmission lines, single and double circuit, with both overhead lines and a cable.
The implementation of this project will involve several companies from Romelectro Group. The engineering and design will be done by the Institute for Studies and Power Engineering (ISPE), metal pillars will be made by CELPI Bucharest, while Sibiu Electromontaj will provide assistance with implementation and commissioning, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
