Romanian natural gas transmission system operator Transgaz has singed a Memorandum of Cooperation with its French counterpart GRTgaz in order to help implement the European energy strategy in Romania.
French Ambassador in Bucharest, Francois SaintPaul said after the signing of the Memorandum that it is concluded between the two leading companies in their area, as it perfectly illustrates the cooperation and the connections that can take place between the two countries. He explained, without disclosing any further details, that the agreement is aimed to implementing the European energy strategy in Romania.
GRTgaz is one of the leading companies in the natural gas transmission field. In France, it owns and operates 32,320 kilometers of underground gas distribution network along with 27 compressor stations, transmits Serbia-energy.eu
