Pecinci municipality and Russian-Spanish consortium have signed a memorandum of understanding that defines conditions for construction of solar plant in this municipality.
Document was signed by President of Pecinci municipality Sava Cojcic, Deputy Director of Russian Photovoltaic Industry Association (RPIA) Jevgej Zagorodni, RPIA representative in Serbia Andrej Dimitrijevic, Managing Director of Exiton LLC Company Aleksandar Karaulov and Deputy Managing Director for East Europe of Elecnor S.A. Loreto Tehuka.
“Pecinci municipality shows readiness to support RPIA investments in accordance with Serbian laws and general legal acts of municipality. Municipality Pecinci will provide all-inclusive service and support of local administration in issuance of required permissions and approvals in accordance with duties”, Cojcic said and stressed that direction of solar plants’ construction is direction of the future.
As it was stated in Pecinci municipality, Consortium of companies, which leader is RPIA, is in charge of finances, design, construction, administration and maintenance of photovoltaic systems (solar).
RPIA plans to invest 75-90 million EUR in development of 30 MW strong solar plant construction on the location of 240 ha that is placed in work zone of Karlovcic and it relies on Asanja work zone what opens the south of municipality toward new investments.
150 workers will be engaged directly and 180 persons indirectly during these investments.
Zagorodni expressed satisfaction with reception in Pecinci and cooperation with municipal administration so far and he stressed that if cooperation with the rest of institutions stays on same level, it will contribute to the realization of this project to happen as soon as possible.
“This represents the beginning of making good cooperation that gives possibility to Pecinci to get significant project in the area of renewable energy sources consumption”, Zagorodni said.
Russian-Spanish delegation will meet representatives of Resources Ministries where all conditions of Pecinci’s investment realization will be précised and Administration of Pecinci municipality will participate in the meeting at Ministry of Finance and Industry.
