SEE: Spot prices 112 – 122 euros/MWh on Monday

On April 3, 2023, the spot prices in the Southeast European region increased by at least 65 percent compared to the previous day in almost all countries, except for Greece, which recorded a 4 percent price drop.
The day before, prices ranged from 111.6 euros/MWh in Hungary and Serbia to around 122 euros/MWh in Croatia and Greece.
Prices on other markets in the region were around 113.2 euros/MWh in Slovenia, 113.4 euros/MWh in Bulgaria and 114 euros/MWh in Romania.
On Sunday, the lowest price in the region was recorded in Serbia – 62.6 euros/MWh. In other countries of the region, the price was around 68 euros/MWh, except in Greece, which was the most expensive European market, with 127.5 euros/MWh.
In the rest of Europe, the lowest spot price on Monday was recorded by Spain – 61.8 euros/MWh, despite an increase of almost 300 percent compared to Sunday. The highest spot price on the continent of 123.7 euros/MWh was achieved in Belgium.
