Serbian Ministry of Mining and Energy has published a public tender for the advisory services for the public-private partnership for the construction of the mandatory oil reserves and oil products reserves storage.
According to tender documentation, the winner of this tender will provide support to the Ministry of Mining and Energy in the process of submitting the proposal of the public-private partnership to the Government and to the Commission for PublicPrivate Partnerships.
The selected company will also prepare tender documentation for the process of the selection of the private partner, a draft public agreement, and the draft agreement on the establishment of a specialpurpose joint company.
In 2015, Serbia has started the formation of a mandatory reserves of oil and by the end of the year it had secured reserves for nine day supply. The plan is that by 2023 these reserves gradually grow in order to achieve security of supply for several months.
