Authorities in the Municipality of Aleksinac have launched a public review process for planning documentation related to a new wind energy project in the Mozgovo area.
The proposed development, led by WPP Forestwind, envisions the construction of a wind farm with an installed capacity of 150 MW, featuring 22 wind turbines.
Compared to earlier proposals from last year, the project has been significantly revised. The originally planned capacity was reduced by 75 MW, while the number of turbines was nearly halved, from 40 to 22 units.
The wind farm is planned across an area of approximately 2,015 hectares, covering parts of the cadastral zones of Mozgovo and Bovan.
