Serbia: Amendments to the electricity market rules
, News Serbia EnergyCouncil of the Energy Agency of Serbia agreed on the Amendments to the Electricity Market Rules, which was prepared by TSO grid network company PE “Elektromreze Srbije”.
With these amendments, the Electricity Market Rules are consistent with the Energy Law, the Regulation on conditions of delivery and supply of electricity, and the Transmission System Rules, the Rules on the allocation of cross-border capacity and operation rules for interconnection. The amendments also include the justified proposals of the participants in the electricity market resulting from the experience in the previous period of application of the Electricity Market Rules.
The most significant changes are in the areas of balancing electricity markets and balancing responsibility, the method of calculating the acceptable deviation balancing groups, as well as budget deviations and financial settlement of balancing responsible parties.
