Energy Agency of Serbia (AERS) approved gas price increase for 8,6% in average valid for 31 distributors from 1 February 2013, stated AERS.
Average price for household gas (without VAT) will amount 44,4 dinars per cubic meter to those distributers. Gas price increase will be 9,5% for all buyers connected to Serbian distribution systems and it will amount 40,42 dinars per cubic meter, it was said in statement.
Agency has given approval for gas price increase to Public Company “Srbijagas” previously. It referred to all buyers connected to its distribution network. Srbijagas has increased prices of gas for 10% to all industrial consumers and distributors who are supplied by Srbijagas since 15 January, while 10% price increase will begin to apply since 1 February.
Agency stated that gas distributors didn’t ask for change of distribution system accesses (so called network fees), so prices of these services determined in 2011 will be still applied.
