The City of Pirot published a detailed regulation plan for the construction of a solar power plant at Ravniste, near the village of Ponor.
The solar power plant will have an installed capacity of 6 MW and would consist of several fields, connected with internal roads, and supporting infrastructure. The plant will be connected to the national electricity network via 35 kV transmission line.
The consent for the development of the detailed regulation plan was given by the members of the Pirot City Council in September last year, when the head of the City’s urban planning Bojan Pesic announced that there are two interested investors in the construction of 4 MW solar power plant.
Last April, French Investor, through its local subsidiary IEL PV South, said that it is interested in the construction of 75 MW solar power plant Dobri Do near Pirot.
